A further presentation was made to Ron Hall of a jigsaw of the National Memorial Arboretum, due to him missing the visit due to a test related injury. The meeting progressed and the secretaries voice was straining to the point where he couldn’t speak, reaching for a glass of water he muttered “I’m dying here”, John “the undertaker” Cole, rubbed his hands with glee announcing “I do special rates for mates”. After the evening function small pockets of the men went into little huddles, Vale, Pepper, Murdock & Gilbert were making their plans for a special mission in Afghanistan, Vale would provide the weapons from his own arsenal. Doesn’t matter who these men are sent to track down Bin Laden or Gaddafi they will be ready at the drop of a hat, if they can get down far enough to pick it up. They would travel incognito to their covert destinations and report back in May 2012 for a special ops weekend. The team photo with their Middle Eastern aliases.

Perry – Bin Happy You Enjoyed It
As a final story for this PXR, Bill Gilbert gave me a call after arriving home and told me how much he had enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel, he was amazed at the choice and quality. Well Bill they were specially arranged just for you. We shouldn’t overlook the how good the hotel was and the contribution Billy, Louise and all the other staff at the Cathedral Lodge Hotel made to making the weekend an overwhelming success. Just goes to prove you can take a “Bin” out on a bank holiday weekend, Mission Accomplished. Best wishes and see you next year
