Reunion 2024

32nd Reunion held in Alton. Visit to the Milestone Living History Museum. Competition was Dominos played on the Friday Night. Winner was David Clark. Runners up were Gary Stewart and Dave Wood. Smile with Kyle stayed with Bill Gilbert. Evening Entertainment was Alberts Magic Show. Followed by a 2nd show for Hotel guests at there request.

 

Reunion 2023

31st Reunion held in Pickering. Visit to Eden Camp. Competition Winners were Stuart Murdoch and Peter Dibble. Smile with Kyle went to Bill Gilbert. Evening Entertainment was Alberts Magic Show.

 

Reunion 2022

30th Reunion held in Bournemouth. Debbie Corbett was our Singing Entertainer. Crazy Golf was played. Winners Ron Hall. Brian Hogan and Bill Willis. Smile with Kyle went to David Clark

Reunion 2019

This years reunion was held in Alton. Bus ride around the old Bordon Camp and Rural Life Center Military event. A donation was made to the REME Charity in Honour of Brian Finlands Passing.

 

Reunion 2018

This years 26th reunion was held Lichfield. A visit to the REME memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum. Full details in the PXR

 

Reunion 2017

This years 25th reunion was held at Durley Grange Hotel Bournemouth.  Activity this year was a visit to the Tank Museum Bovington. Brian Finland stood down as Club Secretary and Albert Johnson was appointed as new Secretary. Sat evening entertainment was provided Hotel Singer by our own Magic Man. Albert.

 

Reunion 2016

The years 24th reunion was held at Chatsworth House Hotel in Llandudno Wales. Tom Fromson and Bill Gilbert won this years Trophy. Sat evening entertainment was a new Magic Show provided by our own Magic Man. Albert

 

Reunion 2015

This years 23rd reunion was held at The Best Western hotel Felixstowe. Activity this year was Air Rifle and Pistol shooting. Ken Ogara was our  Winner. Runner up Dave Wood. Tom Start received the needed to Improve trophy. Sat evening entertainment was provided by our own Magic Man. Albert.

 

Reunion 2014

This years 22nd reunion was held at Durley Grange Hotel Bournemouth.  Activity this year was Darts. Len Kniverton and Gary Stewart were our Winners. Runners up Dave Perry and Andrew Porat.  Ken O Gara and John Cole received the needed to Improve trophy. Sat evening entertainment was provided by our own Magic Man. Albert.

 

Reunion 2013

This years 21st reunion was held at Blackpool at the Manhatton Hotel.  Activity this year was 10 Pin Bowling. Winners were Brian Finland and Dave Perry. Brian Hogan received the needed to Improve trophy and Dave Dixie Dean received a book of 211 Bright Ideas. Dave Clark join us this year.

 

Reunion 2012

This years 20th reunion was held at Arborfield. REME Museum and full Regimental dinner in the Sgt Mess. Plus a Cultural Walk around Reading.

 

Reunion 2011

This years reunion was held in Lichfield. A treasure hunt round town in the rain. Followed by a visit to the REME memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum. Full details in the PXR

Reunion 2007

This years reunion was held in Stafford at the Vine Hotel. All praise goes to Dave Perry for arranging the whole of this years event. The activity for Saturday was a round robin of Bounty tests. Including Escape and evasion, bouncing bomb and shooting. (With darts). As everybody passed this year Dave Perry presented everyone a Bounty. (Chocolate bar). This years winners were John Haley, Reg Day and Ken Ogara.

 

Reunion 2006

This years reunion was held in Blackpool at The Manhattan Hotel. The activity on Saturday  was Indoor Bowls. The PXR  will have a full account of the event.

From the  Meeting it was decided that at the next event we would all wear the REME CORP TIE that Peter Dibble kindly provided. 

A BIG well done to Peter Dibble for winning the New Shield. How to get it home is the question.

It was agreed that the cost should be aimed at sub £100. The club has maintained great value for money for many years but inflation has finally caught up.

 

Reunion 2005

At the annual meeting it was stated that this Trophy would return to Gary’s family when the club has its lasts reunion.
